↓ (13-06-15) I saw this broken Clarkson on the meccanicaedintorni forum website.
The machine belongs to super_robertino. My Italian is not too good, but I gather the machine got damaged during transit.

Sorry the pictures are a bit small.
The end of the rack was broken.
The lever arm was broken.
The damage is indicated.
Notice the flip down perspex shield. That's the first time I have see that done.
The Clarkson is put on a moveable trolley.

This part built machine was described as:-

Clarkson Mk1 Tool and Cutter Grinder - Unfinished Project
I don't have the time to finish it.
What you see in the photos is all that is included.
Its been stripped down and cleaned, had a coat of paint.
The motor is 3phase, and has been tested and runs fine, it will run on single phase 240V if you use the correct capacitors to do the conversion.
It requires a spindle nut, belt (there is a used one included), belt cover and new height adjustment feed screw and nut, plus a nut to lock the height adjustment.
There is some backlash in the feed screw, but ways are good.
It has been well used over the years but you can get many more years of use out of it once the few bits above have been made.

Mini digital read outs have been fitted to the two cross slides with a range of approx. 20mm, metric or imperial readings are available and they can be set to zero within the range.The read outs are secured by a m6 cap headed screw and have various positions along each cross slide.
A dial with graduations has also been fitted for the up and down movement of the wheel.
A grinding wheel is included and a box spanner.
Also included is a spin fixture, a jig plate and a perspex guard which are all in good condition.

It was described as:-
This cutter grinder (serial no. 8088) comes from my Father's workshop, currently being cleared. He purchased this machine in 1964 for 149 pounds. He alone used it in his toolmaking business until his retirement (age 96) in 2009. The machine comes with many standard attachments and, in addition, includes special jigs that he made to increase the machine's capabilities. The sale includes the original Operator's Handbook and several related brochures.
The machine requires a floorspace of 24" x 30" and the total weight is 178 kg. You can disassemble the machine into manageable sections that two strong people can handle.

SPECIAL JIGS
Dividing head - the standard universal head (91127) has a detachable basic dividing head fitted, with plunger-set holes every 30 degrees and +/- 30 degree scales on opposite edges.
15-degree setting plate - a separate plate fits the main table for quick setting of tools at 15 degrees to the grinding wheel.
